Meet Dr. Marechek

Andrei Marechek, MD, DDS is an Oral and Maxillofacial surgeon who is certified in both Oral and Maxillofacial and Facial Aesthetic surgery. Having had training in medical and dental fields followed by extensive maxillofacial and facial cosmetic fellowship training, Dr. Marechek is uniquely qualified in the finesse and balance of bony and soft tissue surgery of the face.
Dr. Marechek completed his undergraduate training at the University of California, San Diego. He went on to obtain his dental degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, and medical degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. Dr. Marechek matched his top choice residency program at Case Western Reserve University. The program is a rigorous 5-year program focused on facial surgery.
During his training, Dr. Marechek served as a resident physician at University Hospitals, and MetroHealth Hospitals, both busy level I trauma centers where he gained unparalleled experience in post-traumatic facial reconstruction. Additionally, Dr. Marechek spent time at the world-renowned Cleveland Clinic, where he cared for some of the most intricate and challenging cases such as some of the world’s first facial transplant patients. Dr. Marechek then went on to complete a Facial Cosmetic surgery fellowship focusing on aesthetic facial surgery.
Dr. Marechek currently resides in Los Angeles. His special interests include facial aesthetic surgery in addition to facial recontouring, temporomandibular joint, and orthognathic jaw surgery. Dr. Marechek continues to constantly improve and evolve his techniques and continues to publish peer-reviewed research and author book chapters in the field of facial aesthetic and reconstructive surgery.
Outside of the office, Dr. Marechek enjoys any water-related activities such as spearfishing, surfing, and sailing. Dr. Marechek is also a proud father and loves spending time with his family and two dogs.
